Roll Out! Team Connect ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Bucket & Mop Co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Roll Out! Team Connect.

Roll Out! is a communication hub designed specifically for wheelchair basketball teams, providing real-time chat, photo sharing, and calendar management to help teams stay connected and organized.

Beta Testing Notice

This app is currently in private beta testing with select teams. During this phase, we may collect additional diagnostic information to help improve the app. Beta features may change or be removed as we refine the product based on tester feedback.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo, phone number
  • Team Information: Team roster data, player profiles, team settings
  • Chat Messages: Messages sent within team chat channels
  • Photos: Images uploaded to team galleries and chat
  • Calendar Events: Practice schedules, games, and team events
  • Profile Information: Position, jersey number, and other optional profile details

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: Device type, iOS version, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features used, time spent in app, interaction patterns
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, errors encountered
  • Push Notification Tokens: For delivering team notifications
  • Beta Diagnostics: Crash reports, performance data, and debug logs (during beta)

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the team communication platform
  • Enable real-time chat and photo sharing between team members
  • Manage team calendars and send event reminders
  • Send push notifications for team updates and messages
  • Improve app stability and performance

Team Data Sharing

Team data is shared among team members. When you join a team, other team members can see your profile information, messages, and shared photos. Team administrators have access to manage team content, invite/remove members, and moderate communications.

We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Firebase/Supabase), push notification services
  • Team Members: As controlled by team settings and your privacy preferences
  • Team Administrators: Team admins can manage team content and membership
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect rights and safety

Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your team data:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
  • Secure authentication with email verification
  • Team-based access controls
  • Regular security updates

Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active
  • Chat Messages: Retained for team history; deleted messages are permanently removed within 30 days
  • Photos: Retained until deleted by you or a team administrator
  • Calendar Events: Retained until deleted; past events may be archived
  • Beta Diagnostic Data: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access and export your personal data
  • Update your profile information
  • Delete individual messages and photos
  • Leave teams you've joined
  • Delete your account entirely
  • Opt out of non-essential notifications

Children's Privacy

Roll Out! Team Connect is not intended for users under 13 years of age. Team administrators are responsible for ensuring all team members meet age requirements. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Roll Out! after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
